Rosanna Davison has revealed that she is delighted that Grainne Seoige has landed a job on ITV's new breakfast show, Daybreak.
The former Miss World told the Irish Daily Star: "I'm so pleased for Grainne as she has the experience and professionalism to really succeed on such a high-profile show.
"She's a shining example of a focused and determined Irish woman, with that impressive combination or brains and beauty."
Davison added: "I bump into Grainne from time to time as we go to the same gym and she is always friendly, chatty and positive."
The model would like to follow a career in television herself, and follow in the footsteps of nutritionist Gillian McKeith since being trained as a nutrition expert.
"My qualifications will open up more doors for TV and writing. I could follow the path of experts Gillian McKeith or Linda McCartney, for example."
