Cheryl Cole's father has said that the singer is "on the mend now", saying that her family had "obviously been worried" about her.
According to The Mirror, Gary Tweedy said: "She has been in a bad way and we have obviously been worried. But she's on the mend now."
"We don't know how long she'll be in hospital, I don't think the doctors know. We're just all so relieved she's alright."
Cole was treated in intensive care last week after being diagnosed with malaria. She has since been moved to a private clinic for further treatment.
