'Coronation Street' actor Andy Whyment appeared at the auditions for 'The X Factor' in Manchester on Sunday as his soap character, Kirk Sutherland.
The Sun says the soap's makers did not give many details about his appearance at the auditions.
However, they said it was part of a stunt and not a 'Coronation Street' storyline.
