Former 'X Factor' star Diana Vickers has said that she just "wanted to be noticed" on the show.
According to the Daily Mail, she said: "I never expected to win 'The X Factor', I just wanted to be noticed."
"Of course, by the end I wanted to stay in the house with the other contestants because after 12 weeks together we'd grown close."
"But I don't think I was suited to the role of winner because I want - I need - to do my own thing, and writing songs takes space and time."
