'Home and Away' star Ray Meagher has been confirmed for West End show 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'.
The actor, who plays Alf Stewart in the Australian soap, will begin his run in the show on 30 September at the Palace Theatre.
Speaking about the role previously, the actor said: "The role isn't a singer's role."
"I've sung in lots of different things but I'm not Michael Crawford and wouldn't be cast in any role remotely like that ever."
"The role I play is not about singing. The cast is chock full of magnificent singers."
