Singer and 'X Factor' judge Dannii Minogue reportedly had to rush to hospital ahead of the birth of her baby son.
According to The Mirror, Minogue was planning to have a home birth in Melbourne but complications meant that she had to be taken to hospital as a precaution.
A source said: "It was touch and go for a while but thankfully it all worked out fine."
Minogue was hoping that her singer sister Kylie, who is currently in Ibiza promoting her new album, would make it home to Australia before the baby was born.
The source said: "It's ironic that she was in Ibiza when Ethan was born - that was where Dannii and Kris first met and fell in love."
"She had hoped the little one would have held on for a week so she could be there at the birth, but Ethan had his own plans."
