Around 250 people have attended the wedding of actress Amy Huberman to rugby star Brian O’Driscoll in the village of Aughavas in Co Leitrim today.
The groom arrived at St Joseph’s Church in the village around 25 minutes early for the 2pm ceremony and greeted guests who were driven to the Church by bus.
The bride arrived twenty minutes late in a white Rolls Royce. She was wearing an off white strapless gown and a small veil and was attended by four bridesmaids wearing pale pink. Amy's dress is from Myrtle Ivory and was designed by Stephanie Allin.
A wedding reception is being held in the four star Lough Rynn Castle Hotel near Mohill. The ceremony was performed by a friend of the couple Fr Vincent Twomey.
Amy has four bridesmaids - Noleen Morris, Joanne Hegarty, Lynne Mc Nabola and Olivia Morgan – and was also accompanied by flowergirl Katie Kennedy and pageboy Noah Pilkington Fraser.
Brian’s bestmen are Donovan Rossi and Damien O'Donoghue and Ciaran Scally is acting as a groomsman.
The Camembert Quartet will provide the entertainment for the evening, and tomorrow a barbeque will take place for close family and friends where The Coronas and The Bogus Brothers will provide the entertainment.
