'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole will not change her name back to Tweedy after her divorce is finalised, according to reports.
The News of the World reports that the pop singer is planning to keep the surname Cole, despite the fact that she will no longer be married to footballer Ashley Cole.
Last week Simon Cowell introduced the singer as Cheryl Tweedy at a round of auditions for 'The X Factor'.
A source said: "Cheryl had no idea Simon was going to say that. It wasn't planned and she was shocked."
"She's Cheryl Cole now and has spent years building up a successful brand - she's not prepared to turn her back on it. Tweedy doesn't feel right."
