It is reported that 'Coronation Street' legend Jean Alexander has declined an offer to reprise her role as Hilda Ogden for the ITV soap's 50th anniversary celebrations.
The 84-year-old's agent, Joan Redding, told the News of the World: "Jean's not interested in getting involved again."
An unnamed 'Coronation Street' source said of Alexander's decision: "Jean was our ace card.
"It would have been a big ratings winner. We're gutted."
