Teenage star Miley Cyrus is to play the lead role in a new paranormal thriller called 'Wake'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the film is based on the Lisa McMann novel of the same name and tells the story of Janie, a 17-year-old girl who has the ability to see other people's dreams.
Already an outsider, her problems mount when she sees a dream which involves her.
'Wake' is the first in a series of three books, with 'Fade' and Gone' the follow-ups.
