'Coronation Street' fans are set to see some major bust-ups in the soap in the coming weeks involving male and female characters.
Warning: spoiler alert!
The Sun reports that Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) first trade blows when Peter sees fiancé Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) talking to ex husband Nick in the Rovers Return.
Peter drags Nick from the pub and when he refuses to apologise Peter hits him in the face before barman Ciarán McCarthy (Keith Duffy) breaks it up.
The paper says that the feud will continue as the makers of the show try to recreate the tensions of the Ken Barlow (William Roache) and Mike Baldwin (Johnny Briggs) rivalry of the 1980s and 1990s.
Another fight will see Deirdre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride) and Gail McIntyre (Helen Worth) wrestling on the floor after Gail discovers that Deirdre has been seeing her mother Audrey's (Sue Nicholls) lover Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers).
The pair are dragged off the floor by Deirdre's husband Ken.
