'Coronation Street' star Antony Cotton has agreed a new contract with the ITV soap.
The Press Association reports that the actor, who plays Sean Tully, has signed a 12-month deal.
The Mirror reports that the new deal followed speculation that Cotton was leaving the soap to join another show.
An unnamed source told The Mirror: "Antony was off on Friday and out of the blue everyone was talking about him quitting to join 'Benidorm'."
Cotton has played Sean Tully since 2005.
