Following her treatment for cancer, former 'ER' star Maura Tierney has agreed a deal to play one of the lead roles in the new legal drama series 'The Whole Truth'.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the series looks at the building of cases by both the defence and the prosecution, with Tierney playing Kathryn Pearle, a deputy bureau chief in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
'Numb3rs' star Rob Morrow will play criminal attorney Jimmy Brogan.
Tierney is replacing Joely Richardson in the series, who left the project to spend more time with her family.
