TV presenter Grainne Seoige got a cash windfall yesterday when her racehorse romped home in first place in Naas to scoop the €65,000 first prize.
However the Daily Star reports that Seoige missed out on seeing her horse win as she has gone on holiday with her son and husband to escape the media attention following the announcement that her marriage has ended.
Her horse, the Jim Bolger trained Radharcnafarraige, came in as the 2/1 favourite to win the 4.10 at Naas yesterday.
It’s the second time her horse has won on the Co Kildare racetrack.
The Star quotes trainer Jium Bolger as saying that the horse will now head to Royal Ascot.
