It is reported that former 'ER' star Maura Tierney is in talks to play the lead role in the new legal drama series 'The Whole Truth'.
Entertainment Weekly reports that 'The Whole Truth' follows the building of a case from both the defence and prosecution's perspectives.
If Tierney signs up for the series, she will replace Joely Richardson, who left in May to spend more time with her family.
Tierney was set to star in the TV series 'Parenthood' last year but left the project to receive treatment for cancer.
