Footballer Frank Lampard’s new girlfriend, 'One Show' host Christine Bleakley is reportedly keen to bury the hatchet with her Lampard’s ex fiancée Elen Rivas.
According to the Daily Star, the presenter has now asked that they meet up and sort things out.
A close friend is quoted in the Daily Star as saying: "Christine wants to swallow her pride and meet Elen face to face. She needs to get Elen on side before she and Frank get married or start a family."
The presenter, 31, is reportedly also looking forward to getting to know Frank and Elen’s two daughters.
But a friend of Elen revealed to the paper: "Christine has met the children in private and everything went well. Nevertheless Elen still hasn’t given up hope of getting Frank back.
"She has made it clear that she isn’t keen on Christine having a full-on relationship with her daughters."
Apparently, Elen, 35, still can’t believe she lost her fella so fast and is getting ready to go in with all guns blazing. A source told Star magazine that Elen confessed: "We had plans for the future. One minute we were planning another baby, the next we parted."
