Passions will rise in 'EastEnders' this Friday with the arrival of new character Vanessa Gold, played by former 'Footballers' Wives' star Zoe Lucker.

Vanessa comes to Albert Square to buy a car for her daughter Jodie (Kylie Babbington) from dealer Max Branning (Jake Wood).
However, the duo quickly put business to one side in favour of pleasure.
Vanessa's daughter later becomes involved with Max's employee Darren Miller (Charlie G Hawkins).
The Daily Star reports that in upcoming episodes fans will discover that Vanessa is married and has some "dark secrets".
