Legendary rocker Meat Loaf is set to take over the airwaves to present 'Celebrity Sunday' on RTÉ 2fm tomorrow at 5pm.
Tomorrow, Meat Loaf will be reminiscing on the times he toured Ireland the 1970s and early 1980s, and he needs your help for an upcoming book.
He said: ‘Back then no other big artist was willing to tour extensively around Ireland. I was the first, and I toured every little venue in the country. It was one of the best touring experiences of my life’.
Now Meat Loaf wants to track down anyone who was at one of those gigs for an upcoming book he’s writing.
‘I’m planning to write a book next year about my time on the road, and I’m looking for stories in particular from Ireland, and those early Irish gigs. Were you there when I was hopping around the stage like a madman in small halls all over Ireland?
‘I want to hear from you. You can contact 2fm with all the details. Maybe you met the love of your life there….Let me know…the meatier the better!’
