Cheryl Cole is to reportedly go ahead with plans to remove her ‘Mrs C’ neck tattoo dedicated to estranged husband Ashley.
According to The Mirror, the ‘X Factor’ judge will take time out from her busy schedule to have the artwork zapped off over the coming weeks.
Sources say that Cheryl wants to have the tattoo removed "discreetly and with class".
It is thought that the 26-year-old hopes to have completed laser treatment before she attends a series of US career meetings later in the year.
Cole will reportedly be introduced to a number of US TV networks in the coming months as she gears up to crack America. She is also expected to enter talks with fashion outlets there.
The singer filed for divorce from Ashley earlier this week.
