'Coronation Street' actor William Roache is to be joined by his real-life sons Linus and James in the ITV soap as part of a shocking new storyline.

The Press Association reports that Roache's character, Ken Barlow, discovers a "dark family secret" during building work on his home.
His discovery causes tension between him and wife Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) and son Peter (Chris Gascoyne).
Commenting, Roache said: "I can think of no better way to celebrate my 50th anniversary on 'Coronation Street' than to be working alongside both of my sons - I am looking forward to it immensely."
'Law & Order' star Linus Roache briefly appeared in 'Coronation Street' as Peter Barlow in 1975, while James Roache's credits include 'Cold Blood' and 'The Innocence Project'.
