Poison singer and 'The Celebrity Apprentice' winner Bret Michaels is to have heart surgery this autumn.
The 47-year-old, who is recovering from a brain haemorrhage, suffered a setback in his recovery earlier this month when he had a warning stroke.
During tests it was discovered that Michaels has a hole in his heart.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, he said: "What they'll do is they'll go in and they'll do the heart operation in the fall. They have to let everything clear out and then they'll go in and do the operation in my heart and then I'm [going to] be great."
Michaels appeared at the live finale of 'The Celebrity Apprentice' in the US on Sunday.
After winning the show, he said: "There were some fierce competitors, but I came here to win. I came here to show Donald Trump [the show's head judge] I could rock and that I could hold my own and work hard."
