It is reported that former 'EastEnders' stars Kara Tointon and Joe Swash have split up.
Twenty-six-year-old Tointon and 28-year-old Swash had been together for nearly two years.
The News of the World says the actress went to Spain after the couple decided to split last week.
A friend told the newspaper: "After ending it Kara flew to Marbella for a holiday to get her head together.
"Both she and Joe are really upset about it - but their rows were getting too frequent and they knew they couldn't make it work anymore."
Last month Tointon dismissed reports that the couple were experiencing problems and said they were "very happy together".
Swash and Tointon met when they began playing brother and sister Mickey Miller and Dawn Swann in the soap in 2005.
They announced they were going out together when Swash won ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' in November 2008.
