Emmerdale - Will Sally (Siân Reeves) return to terrorise Ashley (John Middleton)?

Former 'Emmerdale' star Siân Reeves has said that she could make a return to the ITV soap as villain Sally Spode.

Viewers last saw Spode institutionalised after drugging and assaulting vicar Ashley Thomas (John Middleton) and claiming she was pregnant with his child.

The actress, who was nominated for Villain of the Year at this year's British Soap Awards, told Five's 'Holy Soap': "I could turn up with triplets, IVF triplets, Ashley one, Ashley two and Ashley three."

Her former co-star Charlotte Bellamy, who plays Ashley Thomas' wife Laurel, said of Reeves' possible return: "Anything is possible. She could come back. She's not dead."

Reeves praised Bellamy and Middleton for making her time on 'Emmerdale' such a success.

"It's been a really good part to play and I couldn't have done it without these two geniuses," she said. "Had they been rubbish actors I would be awful."
