'Coronation Street' star Kate Ford has said that she has a "new empathy" with her character Tracy.
According to All About Soap, Ford said that motherhood gave her a new perspective on the character.
The actress said: "It gives me a new empathy with [Tracy]. It doesn't change how I act in front of the camera, but it does alter how I feel inside."
"Filming the scenes where Tracy sees Amy at Blanche's funeral were really sad, especially when Amy tells Tracy the things that were familiar between them aren't the same now - I could connect to that."
"She's handcuffed to a guard and is ashamed when she sees Amy. No child should have to see their mum in handcuffs."
