Sandra Bullock has revealed that she has secretly adopted a baby boy and has begun divorce proceedings against husband Jesse James.
In an exclusive interview in the new issue of People magazine Bullock introduces her son, three-and-a-half-month-old Louis Bardo Bullock, who was born in New Orleans.
She says: "He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way. It's like he's always been a part of our lives."
Bullock says in the interview that she and James began the adoption process four years ago but did not want to reveal the news until after this year's Oscars.
The actress also says in the interview that she has filed for divorce and will raise her son as a single parent.
