GMTV’s Ben Shephard and Andrew Castle are to be dropped from the ITV breakfast show, according to one report today.
It was announced yesterday that The One Show’s Adrian Chiles is set to move to ITV in a four-year deal which will see him fronting GMTV as well as ITV’s soccer coverage.
The Mirror reports this morning that Shephard and Castle are set to leave the show later this year and it also says there is uncertainty about the future of GMTV female presenters Kate Garraway and Emma Crosby. The report claims that ITV are hoping to lure Chiles’s One Show co-host Christine Bleakley to join the show.
Bleakley’s spokesperson has dismissed that claim saying she is happy where she is.
