With the final episode of the current series of 'Desperate Housewives' set to air on American television next month, fans have been promised some major twists.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, the show's executive producer, Bob Daily, said that "someone the audience has gotten to know this season" will die and there will also be a "big explosion".
Daily also said there would be a "life-changing decision" for Mike (James Denton) and Susan (Teri Hatcher), "some shocking Van De Kamp secrets" and that Lynette (Felicity Huffman) would give birth under "pretty scary circumstances".
