Reports suggest Jedward could be about to team up with Crystal Swing to record a charity single.
The Herald reports that the collaboration is a step closer after Jedward made it clear that they were eager to "make it happen".
According to the paper both sides are said to be in talks about the project at present, with negotiations under way as to what song would best suit the diverse talents of the 'X Factor' stars and family band - mother Mary Murray-Burke and her teenage children, Derek (18) and Dervla Burke (16).
"It's something that's definitely on the cards in the not too distant future," said a music insider.
"The finer details are still being worked out right now. Nothing concrete has been agreed on yet in terms of the song or the charity. It might not happen until closer to Christmas time depending on both their schedules".
The much-hyped family band have just returned from a whirlwind trip to Hollywood, where they made an appearance on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show'.
The Cork trio performed their song 'He Drinks Tequila' live on air on the US chat show, where they had the opportunity to rub shoulders with 'Desperate Housewives' actress Eva Longoria Parker, who was also a guest that day.
Researchers on the show pursued the band for months, with Derek even managing to get Ellen to do his signatory move, 'The Hucklebuck'.
