'The Hills' star Heidi Montag reportedly underwent a bizarre procedure to enhance her back during a cosmetic overhaul and apparently she agreed without knowing what the operation entailed.
The 23-year-old completely transformed herself with a raft of cosmetic surgeries at the end of last year, including a breast augmentation and liposuction, as well as work on her chin and nose.
Now, the star has revealed she also had a "back scoop" while under anaesthetic - which carves and shapes the back - even though she had no idea how the procedure worked.
The Toronto Sun quotes her as saying "I had my back scooped. I actually didn't know what that is. I might be the first one to try it. It carves out your back a little bit."
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, Montag, who had her surgery filmed, insists her life has completely changed because she can't even hug people any more.
She adds, "I have the footage of my 10 procedures. I've watched a little bit. I'm very weird about hugging people now - my body is very fragile."
