Two of the hosts of ITV’s 'GMTV', Kate Garraway and Lorraine Kelly, have expressed fears for their jobs amid the ongoing revamp of the breakfast show.

It has already been announced that the presenters of the news hour segment of the show, Penny Smith and John Stapleton, are to be dropped with Smith leaving the programme entirely and Stapleton’s role changing.

Speaking to the Mirror, Kelly said "It is very unsettling for everyone. It's a tough time as no-one knows what is going to happen. All we can do is pull together and hope for the best."

Garraway commented "I'm worried, everyone is. Still, I've been here for ten years and I'm so grateful for that. Anything else will be a bonus. We're just keeping our fingers crossed."

Sources from ITV told the Mirror that Kelly’s slot is "likely to be safe".
