Australian actor Todd Lasance has won a court appeal against a good behaviour bond he received after pleading guilty to a drug charge.
Digital Spy reports that the 'Home And Away' star had been ordered to comply with the bond’s restrictions for 12 months. This followed his confession that he had cocaine in his possession at a party last year.
A court in Sydney has now quashed the bond. His lawyer argued that the punishment was too severe and prevented the actor from applying for a US visa. The judge was told the actor had a good chance of securing acting work in the US so she agreed to quash the bond.
Lasance can still be seen in 'Home And Away' weeknights at 6.30pm on RTÉ Two but has already completed filming on the show.
