The American actress and singer Jane Badler, best-known for her role as the evil alien leader Diana in the 1980s sci-fi series 'V', has joined the cast of 'Neighbours'.
The Press Association reports that Badler, who has lived in Melbourne for 20 years, will play Diana Marshall in 'Neighbours'.
She begins filming on the show next week.

A spokesperson for 'Neighbours' said that Badler's soap character "could rival the villainous alien Diana".
She joked: "We're told there are no rodents involved in Badler's scenes - yet."
