'Emmerdale' star Suzanne Shaw has admitted that she initially found her new schedule "hard".
According to PA, the singer and actress, who will play Edna Birch's granddaughter Eve in the soap, said: "It's bloody hard, so it's a been a little bit of a shock to the system but I'm enjoying it."
"[It's] very different. Everything's a lot smaller - it works at a very different pace. I'm so used to doing evening work and live shows."
"Also, with all the script learning, I'm constantly learning scripts, whereas I normally do a few weeks of learning a role and then have six months of not having to learn a script because you know the character so well."
"So the process of every single night reading your scripts, learning it for the next day and getting used to your call times and working in blocks is really hectic."
