'Desperate Housewives' star Teri Hatcher has joined forces with Disney to start a new women's website.
The Hollywood Reporter says that GetHatched.com is nicknamed "a chick's guide to life" and will feature "creative and editorial insight from Hatcher and a small team of contributors".
The site will be launched this spring.
Hatcher is a writer and blogger for the likes of Glamour UK, Newsweek and Modernmom.com and is also the author of the bestselling book 'Burnt Toast and Other Philosophies of Life'.
Commenting on her new venture, the star said: "I have a compelling passion to be a woman with other women. We're the caregivers, the teachers, the lovers."
