Andrea Roche was back at work and putting on a brave face over the weekend as news of her split from husband PJ Mansfield was revealed.
Attending a wedding fair in Limerick, Roche is keeping a dignified silence after the breakdown of her marriage.
The Herald reports that the 32-year-old has found solace and comfort in her close family and friends as she comes to terms with the end of her nine-year relationship.
She has reportedly told friends she's "very sad" about the end of her union with the Mansfield heir, but is determined to keep it a private affair for now.
Yet the former model was forced to put on a brave face as she had to attend the wedding fair in Limerick.
"Andrea just wants to keep her cards extremely close to her heart when it comes to this. She is a high-profile person, she's well-known in Ireland, but when any marriage breaks down, it's always going to be a very personal thing," a friend told the Herald.
"She and PJ are still really good friends and remain on good terms. There's absolutely no acrimony between them - it's just one of those things where they grew apart.
"She was only 24 when she met him and they've been through a lot together.
"They tried to make things work but in the end, the marriage couldn't be saved and the hard decision was made to part ways."
