Following the end of their relationship with Sony, Irish 'X Factor' contestants John and Edward Grimes have a new recording deal.
The twins are expected to finalise the details of their deal with Universal in London in the coming days.
Commenting, the duo's manager, Louis Walsh, said: "I'm completely committed to Jedward and I know they still have a great career ahead of them. The boys have a sell-out tour in Ireland that they start straight after 'The X Factor' tour in April."
Of the move Walsh told Metro: "It's Sony's loss and Universal's gain." He continued "Alarm bells started ringing when Sony signed them to the Arista label. I tried to call them the other day and no-one in the company knew who they were!"
Walsh said "They [Universal} are the same people behind Cheryl [Cole] and Boyzone, and say the boys will be huge.
"The lads will easily make a million each out of this. I think we can make them big internationally. They are huge over here and still have a massive cult following on YouTube."
