Victoria Beckham allegedly got reality TV star Katie Price banned from an exclusive Hollywood party, a report has claimed.
Insiders told a tabloid newspaper that Beckham insisted that she would not attend the Vanity Fair party if Katie was going to be there.
Sources claimed that Posh allegedly phoned event organisers at the Sunset Tower Hotel to describe Katie so that she was turned away from the party.
One source told the Daily Star that friends of Victoria had claimed that Katie's post-Oscar party dress looked like a "Christmas tree from a trailer park".
Insiders told the newspaper that Victoria and Katie came face-to-face at Elton John's party earlier in the evening.
A source is reported as saying: "Because the Vanity Fair party was all about fashion, Victoria knew she could call some shots.
"But at Elton's party, she didn't want to come across like a stroppy diva, especially as it was for charity."
A party-goer confirmed that there was no confrontation between Victoria and Katie at the event.
They said: "Kate and Victoria both knew the other was going to be there so it must have been a bit awkward.
"Everyone was expecting Kate to have a few too many and confront Victoria. In the end Posh dashed off to the other party."
