Details of the character that 'How I Met Your Mother' star Neil Patrick Harris will be playing in 'Glee' have been revealed.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the actor will guest star as Bryan Adam, a former glee club member and Will Schuester's (Matthew Morrison) arch rival.
Adam becomes a member of the board of McKinley High School where 'Glee' is set.
The episode will air on American television in May.
