'Coronation Street' character Blanche Hunt will throw a few final insults in the direction of her Weatherfield neighbours when her will is read out. Warning: spoiler alert!

The Mirror reports that Blanche, who was played by the late Maggie Jones, has left strict instructions for her funeral and the reading of her will.

She makes Norris think he is in line for an inheritance, only for him to discover that she has cancelled her copy of Crossword Monthly.

Blanche pours scorn on Betty's (Betty Driver) cooking abilities by insisting that the pies at her wake are Elliot pies and "definitely none of those terrible Betty's Hotpots".

In the will she describes Ken (William Roache) as a "serial cheat" and demands her wake be held at an expensive hotel even though "he'll try to bury me on the cheap".

The reading of Blanche's will and her funeral will be seen on the ITV soap in May.

Actress Maggie Jones passed away in December, aged 75.
