Actor Jim Carrey is celebrating becoming a grandfather at the age of 47.
People magazine reports that Carrey's daughter Jane and her husband, Alex Santana, had their first child, a baby boy called Jackson Riley Santana, on Friday in Los Angeles.
In a Twitter posting about the new arrival, the star wrote: "Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of California dynamite looks like!"
Carrey's daughter sings with the Jane Carrey Band and his son-in-law is the singer with the band Blood Money.
