'Britain's Got Talent' judge Piers Morgan has responded to Louis Walsh's criticisms of his music knowledge, branding 'The X Factor' judge "a grandpa figure".
Walsh, who stepped in for Simon Cowell on the 'Britain's Got Talent' panel recently, previously said that Morgan "knows nothing about music".
Writing in the Daily Mail, Morgan said: "I simply pointed out that I sold 2.8 billion newspapers as an editor, a rather higher figure than little Louis has sold records."
"So I do have a fair idea what the British public like and don't like."
"And he seems to have forgotten that 'BGT' is not just about singers and music anyway. I've now judged ten pigs in the last four years here and in America, making me unarguably the most experienced judge of porcine talent in history."
"For my part, I liked having Louis around for a couple of days. It's always nice to have a grandpa figure on the panel who can relate to the pensioner acts on their level."
