It is reported that 'Coronation Street' star John Thomson is leaving the ITV soap.
The Mirror reports that the actor, who plays children's entertainer Jesse Chadwick, and the soap's bosses have agreed that the character's storylines have come to an end.

The paper quotes a source as saying: "Everyone thinks Jesse has done all he can, so it's time to move on."
Thomson made his debut in the show in 2008 at a children's party.
He was so popular that he was brought back as a series regular the following year.
