Vernon Kay has decided to pull out of his UK radio show on Saturday due to his phone texting scandal, according to a report.
The TV presenter, who admitted to exchanging sexy text messages with five women, including glamour model Rhian Sudgen, wants to concentrate on patching things up with wife Tess Daly and was worried about how listeners would react to him during the live broadcast, The Sun claims.
A source close to Kay told the newspaper: "He's asked BBC bosses if he can miss the show as he wants to sort things out. We're waiting to hear back, but we expect they will find someone to stand in.
Friends of the couple reportedly had to break the news to Tess about her husband's multiple indiscretions late on Tuesday night, and she is "devastated" by the news.
A source at ITV said: "Tess is absolutely shattered. At first she thought she could cope with just one girl, but then when the floodgates opened, she was devastated.
"She thought she knew him, but she said 'the trust is gone' and I think it will take a while to regain that trust in the marriage."
