Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie issued a legal statement yesterday saying they had no intention of ending their relationship. The move follows a show of togetherness at the Super Bowl on Sunday in Miami.
The couple has been at the centre of break-up rumours with one newspaper claiming the parents of six have signed legal papers over the fortune and custody of their children.
The Daily Mail reports that lawyers for the couple have said the pair are not splitting and would consider suing any media outlets which continue publishing the "false allegations".
They attended the game on Sunday with their eldest son, Maddox.
The couple were supporting the New Orleans Saints who defeated the Indianapolis Colts. They have been involved in the redevelopment of New Orleans which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
