The makers of 'Coronation Street' have extended the contract of newcomer Ben Price.
The Sunday People reports that 37-year-old Price joined the show as Nick Tilsley last year, the third actor to play the character.

A source told the paper: "He's fitted in well. He keeps his head down, works extremely hard - and it's paid off. Bosses are really pleased so they've decided to extend his contract to keep him in the show even longer."
A spokesman for the ITV soap confirmed the contract extension, saying: "He'll be on screen until at least the end of the year."
