'American Idol' judge Kara Dioguardi has praised the show's new judge Ellen DeGeneres, saying that she is "warm and funny".
Speaking to Self, Dioguardi said: "Ellen's been great, she's really a natural judge."
"She is warm and funny and critical when she needs to be and knows when the music's not right and something's wrong. I'm really impressed by her."
