'EastEnders' star Jo Joyner has given birth to twins.

The Sun reports that the 31-year-old, who described her pregnancy as a "miracle" after receiving IVF treatment, gave birth to a boy and girl.

Joyner, who plays Tanya Branning in the soap, and husband Neil Madden had been trying to conceive for four years.

The star's agent refused to give further details, saying it was "too private right now", but confirmed that her client had agreed a magazine deal.

Joyner's mother Anne told the paper that the twins were born last month.
