According to The Mirror, Fox is hoping to air the US 'X Factor' in the autumn, which may mean a move for the UK version of the show, because Cowell is on the judging panel for both.
It has been reported that the UK 'X Factor' may move to the start of the year, with 'Dancing on Ice' and 'Britain's Got Talent' airing later than usual, but ITV has not yet commented on this report.
A source told the newspaper: "[Cowell] wants to stay making 'X Factor' in the UK as well as his American deal but he can't be in two places at once."
