Dermot O'Leary has dressed up in drag as 'EastEnders' character Dot Cotton to promote the National Television Awards in the UK.

The Mirror reports that the picture accompanies an interview with O'Leary in the current issue of Heat magazine.

You can see O'Leary as Dot by clicking the number '2' below the picture of him on the right.

On dressing up as Dot, O'Leary said: "I watch 'EastEnders' whenever I get a chance. I'm all about the Vic.

"What I love about it is that they always forget how awful people are, so Janine killed Barry and now they're giving her another chance!"

The 'X Factor' presenter, who is hosting the awards show, said: "Last year we [The 'X Factor' team] were so gutted [not to have won]. Simon [Cowell] was in the worst mood ever. So, if 'Strictly [Come Dancing]' wins this year, I'm going to go mental, stage-dive and wrestle Bruce [Forsyth] and Tess [Daly] to the floor."

The National Television Awards will air on ITV next Wednesday, 20 January.
