It has been announced that Canadian singer Michael Bublé is set to marry Argentinian actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, having proposed to her in November.
Speaking to People magazine, the 34-year-old singer's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, said: "Michael proposed to his girlfriend, Luisana, in November, in front of her family in Argentina. They're ecstatic. They're adorable, in love and laugh all day long."
An unnamed friend of Bublé's said of the engagement ring: "He designed the setting himself. He's very proud to be engaged to her."
Bublé met Lopilato, who appeared in his recent video 'Haven't Met You Yet', after one of his concerts in Buenos Aires in November 2008.
The friend told People: "They met at a party the record company threw for him after his show in Buenos Aires. The head of the label wanted to introduce Michael to Argentina's most famous actress. When he met her, he said it was love at first sight."
Rosenberg said that a date for the wedding had yet to be set.
